Can I buy my ticket directly on the bus?
Yes, but you will not be guaranteed a seat. Please note that credit cards are not accepted for payment on board, only cheques and cash are accepted (except for the Aime-La Plagne line).
Is the price of the trip the same everywhere (on the Internet, on board, at the station, etc.)?
Yes. However, discounts may be available at certain times of the year on www.altibus.com, so please check back.
Do I have to print out my internet ticket to board?
This is not required if you can show your ticket purchased on the internet from your smartphone.
Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?
Loyet transport does not handle ticket cancellations and refunds as we are not the seller. Ask where you purchased your ticket.
Can I change the day or time of my ticket?
Loyet transport does not handle ticket changes as we are not the seller. Ask where you purchased your ticket.
Is travel time guaranteed?
Our drivers do their best to keep to the schedule and travel times. They are experienced and know the routes. Unfortunately, driving in the mountains is also subject to changes in weather and traffic jams, especially on winter weekends. It is therefore advisable to leave plenty of time for appointments and connections, especially on weekends between December and March.
I have a train/plane connection after the bus, how can I avoid missing it?
In winter, it is important to arrive for your connection early, especially on weekends between December and March. Mountain roads are subject to changes in weather and traffic jams. So plan to arrive several hours before the train departure time or airport arrival time. And don’t worry, with these recommendations, you’ll have every chance of making your connection! During the rest of the year, travel times are rarely disrupted.

Pets, children
Can I take my pet on board?
Yes, if it is in a carrier or bag on your lap. If your pet is not travelling in carrier, it must be kept on a leash, muzzled, not show signs of aggression and be under the control of the owner. So that all customers may properly use the coach facilities, pets are not allowed on the seats. On the SIBRA line, one dog is allowed per bus. Please note, however, that 1st category dogs as defined in article L.211-12 of the rural and maritime fishing code are not allowed on the SIBRA and regular Aime-La Plagne lines, nor are other categories of pets such as snakes, spiders, etc. Note: Neither the transporter nor the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region may be held liable for the consequences of an accident caused by a pet. The owner remains responsible for any damage caused.
Do I have to buy a ticket for my dog?
Yes on TERs for dogs over 6 kg (except guide dogs). Other dogs weighing less than 6 kg should be kept in a carrier or held on your lap. On the SIBRA lines, however, they can travel free of charge. On the Aime-La Plagne lines, dogs that are not in carriers and weigh 10 kg or more must have a ticket at the same cost as passengers under 26. Guide dogs for the blind or disabled accompanying the holder of a specific card or disability card are accepted free of charge on all lines.
Can children travel free?
Transport is free on TERs for children aged 0 to 3 years inclusive. On SIBRA lines, children under 5 years of age travel free of charge provided they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. And for the regular Aime-La Plagne lines, children under 2 years old travel free.
Luggage, bikes, scooters and toilets on the bus
Is there a limit to the amount of luggage I can bring?
There is no limit to the amount of luggage you can carry, our holds are large and we have ski and snowboard lockers, but the total amount of luggage must not exceed 20 kg. Please note that only one piece of hand luggage is allowed in the cabin. On SIBRA lines, you can only take one piece of hand luggage that is carried by the passenger and does not disturb other passengers.
I have special or bulky luggage, can your coaches carry it?
The holds of our coaches are large and we can adapt the size of the coach. We also have bike and ski trailers. For bicycle trailers, a special quote will be provided. Please note that flammable or hazardous materials are not allowed on board.
Can I take my bike or scooter on the bus?
Bicycles and scooters are accepted depending on the number of passengers in the vehicle and at the discretion of the driver. In TERs, they are limited to a maximum of 3 bicycles in the hold. On SIBRA lines, only folding bicycles and scooters are accepted and must be kept folded and held. On the regular Aime-La Plagne routes in summer, the coaches have bicycle racks. Please note that you can only take your bike on board as long as there is space available in the bike rack. Note: The owner of a held object may be held liable for damage caused by the object to other passengers or the equipment and facilities of the transport network.
Is there a toilet on the bus?
All our tourism and TER coaches are equipped with toilets, except the TER Chambéry-Culoz and Chambéry Annecy lines. Please note that on the regular Aime-La Plagne routes, the coaches are not equipped with toilets because the many hairpin turns make use impossible. It should also be noted that there are no toilets on the ski resort shuttles and urban lines.
